L-Carnitine
L-Carnitine is an amino-acid derivative produced naturally by the body and also found in red meat and dairy foods. It plays a role in the transport of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are used in the production of energy.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has authorised the structure/function claim: "L-Carnitine contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism." This is a nutrient-level claim within the EU regulatory framework - it describes a recognised physiological function of the nutrient. Green Coffee Extract
Green coffee extract is derived from unroasted Coffea arabica beans. Unlike roasted coffee, the green (unroasted) bean retains a higher concentration of chlorogenic acids - naturally occurring polyphenol compounds present in coffee before the roasting process reduces them.
Green coffee extract has a long history of use in botanical wellness routines across multiple cultures. It is standardised in Wellaray Coffee to a minimum of 45% chlorogenic acids to ensure consistent dosing. Vitamin C & B-Vitamins
Vitamins C, B3 (Niacin) and B6 are included at 100% of the EU Nutrient Reference Value per sachet.
